Idea: Electronic soundscapes

In a music workshop, they created their own pieces of music under the direction of the Italian musician Ludovico Failla.

Target:
Inspire, try out, compose – produce electronic music live 

During the workshop, the participants explored the different levels of electronic music composition together. A broad spectrum was covered, from the basics of musical composition to inspiration from various musical styles, rhythms and beats. During the 8 meetings, the participants tested software for electronic music production (Ableton) as well as synthesizers and drum machines. The workshop offered the opportunity to produce electronic music live.

Realization: Recording and production under artistic direction

One focus of the project was the recording of acoustic & electronic instruments and vocals with the help of the software.
The participants expanded their skills and integrated their
creative ideas into your own music production. 

Under the artistic direction of Ludovico Failla an experienced musician and composer from Italy, the participants developed their own pieces of music in the course of the workshop. Ludovico Failla’s expertise helped to foster the creative vision of each individual.

Thanks to the cooperation with the socio-cultural center “die Villa Leipzig ” enabled the project participants to use the modern recording studio ( SoundLab ), which was equipped with the necessary hardware and software as well as electronic musical instruments.
