Open meeting: "Choir interaction
Experience communal singing and cultural diversity
Idea: Connecting people through music
The interaction choir, founded in 2015, is an open and multicultural amateur choir that brings together people from all backgrounds to sing together and explore the diversity of music. The weekly rehearsals offer an opportunity to explore voices, discover traditional songs from different cultures and celebrate the joy of singing together.
Goal: Create a safe space for exchange and encounters
The aim of the choir is to create a space for community and cultural exchange in which people can come together regardless of their previous knowledge and background. By singing different songs from all over the world, the aim is to overcome cultural barriers and strengthen personal bonds through music.
Implementation: Individual development and making music together
The rehearsals of the interaction choir were free and open to all. Under the guidance of Viktoriia Medvedko from Ukraine and Florian Sinkwitz from Germany, the participants explored a wide variety of musical styles and traditions. The choir offered a safe space in which everyone could develop individually. In addition to making music together, the opportunity for personal encounters was also encouraged
