Tools for Making Sense Together: 15 exercises for group processes
Perceiving, feeling, thinking and acting together
The online project “Tools for Making Sense Together” offers 15 methods and exercises that can be used in different contexts in collective processes.
Performance artist Pedro Henrique Risse has developed tools and exercises from various sources, re-contextualized and further developed.
These tools are suitable for creating collaborative environments in which people can perceive, feel, think and act together. It’s about reconnecting thought and body. With the aim of enabling joint thinking in balanced processes. It is also about reminding ourselves that a mindful body is fundamentally for healthy and creative community processes.
This website is aimed at all those who lead collective learning and research processes and focus on community-building values. The website explains how to do the exercises, when they are best suited, how they can be combined and extended and where they come from.
“Tools for Making Sense Together” builds on the workshop series “Bodies > Images > Words > Bodies: performative translations” by Pedro H. Risse. This series took place in 2020 as part of the “Art in Translation” project by interaction Leipzig e.V.
