Open and inclusive music experiences

Idea: Space for music and people

The Interaction Jam Session offered music enthusiasts an open and non-discriminatory platform to make music and listen together. Here, participants from all backgrounds could come together to improvise, explore new instruments and styles, with no prior knowledge required.

Goal: Cultural diversity, network and empowerment

The aim of this event was to promote cultural diversity, build networks and enable empowerment. Through the cooperation with
We Are Godparents Leipzig participants were encouraged to develop their creativity and intercultural skills.

Implementation:

Mohammad Khaitou, a gifted musician from the “Sounds of Hope” orchestra, led the jam sessions. The format enabled a variety of encounters and creative development. During the summer months, the events also took place in the Querbeet community garden and the
Hildegarten
takes place.
